On my mind...

This is a Friday photo feature that anyone with a blog can join. It opens the door to us sharing our lives through these photos and gives us all a new way to discover each other, and maybe form new friendships. Your photo should show something at home that you're thinking about TODAY. If you're in another country you should join in when you read this, even if it's still Thursday.

To take part, all you have to do is post a photo on your own blog, write a short caption explaining it, and link it back to here. Please write a new post, don't link to an older one. When your photo is published, come back and add a comment below, with a link to your blog photo so we can all find you. Please visit all the blogs that appeal to you and leave a comment. Slow down, take the time to cruise around and enjoy your cyber visits.

On my mind is the reading material I put up yesterday. I put in place some signs with instructions on how to use the new recycling station I have set up....my MM's have been having trouble adjusting...so I thought it would be a good idea to put some reading material in a good place, somewhere where there is time to read it....No-one wants to stand around all day reading a heap of new rules.....so I put it in the one place they can't get away from it.....The loo....Yep, some light reading for the MM's...while they are sitting on the toilet can't hurt.

I know it's only supposed to be one photo, but for the sake of being able to read what I put there....I broke the rules just this once...lol

What's on your mind today? .....................

  5. Great idea.I am still surprised at the number of people who just don't get recycling. Maybe you could go into business selling your rules and we could see them on the walls of everyone's loo.

  6. With boys/men, that sign of yours "After taking a shower or using the bathroom" is kind of mandatory, huh? :)

I finally stopped picking up the wet towel thrown on the floor in my teenage sons's room every day. We only issue one bath sheet size towel to each family member a week in our home. If it's wet and crumpled up in a ball and not in the bathroom, well tough cookies! Soon, that towel was being hung up by my son.

Amazing what 'they' can do when mom is out of the picture.....now he's cooking & doing his laundry at univ.....and I could care less what state his room and private bathroom are in as it's not in my home but rather in his student 'digs'!

  8. OK do I get this right?

    - I put the photo on my own blog (actually I put my photos of another blog of mine because I've run OUT of blogspot space in my regular blog...)

    - Then underneath that photo (photo link) I put a link to your blog

    ?

    - Then do I come back here and click on 'create a link' under "Links to this Post" ?

Gee, sorry I'm not clear on the concept. It sounds like a really good idea and I'll feel quite clever once I get how to do it.

  9. I hope you, or somebody else out there, will be so kind as to let me know if I did my cross-posting correctly. I can see that it's the wee hours where you are.

If I lived in Australia, I'd be 54 now! But, alas, I'm still only 53 :-)

Here's what I did. Is this right? Now what do I do?

  10. Happy Birthday Laurel....
Hi there, thanks for joining in on the "on my mind" series, what you do is easy:
*Post a photo of something that is on your mind...on you own blog,
*Under your photo; give a description of the photo and why it is on your mind.....
*then go back to my blog and in the comments for my "On my mind" leave a quick comment about my photo, and a link back to yours....

it gives the readers more opportunities to see more wonderful blogs....in order to see what is on your mind from my blog.....the reader has to visit your blog.
Good try....and just call your post (each time)
    On my mind...
Eventually you will gather up a whole collection of them on your blog....but also be given the opportunity to visit other wonderfully exciting blogs too.
If you have any other questions..feel free to ask on my blog

  11. Lol, I taught my kids times tables by using the wall space opposite the toilet! Some things just need to be learned by rote so you never forget.
