It's a lovely tribute and a beautiful photograph.
ReplyDeleteNarelle, Im so sorry to hear about your mothers passing. l lost my father a couple of weeks ago and it's the hardest thing to have neither of your parents around. l wish you all the strength in the coming days as l know the funeral is one of the hardest things to go through.

What a blessing those last weeks were for you all...thinking of you, Narelle, and sending love and hugs. I lost both my parents in my 30's...I'm 60 next year. It's a big hole in your life, but you have so many lovely memories to help fill it up.

My parents died in 1991 and 1993. The jagged hole in my life has lost the sharp edge, but I still have the hole. I am sorry both your parents have died.
ReplyDeleteThinking of you, even though you dont know me Ive been reading your blog and check back daily to see if you have put up any new posts. I lost my mum after caring for her too, and you feel abit lost because your days were so full of that plus your normal family life. Though as you have so eloquently showed us in your blogs we never really lose our mums or our nans as we have their wisdom that they took time to lovingly instill in us as they invested in our lives and you have been kind enough to post this wisdom onto others. So they never really leave us and you have been kind enough to share. Much love to you at this time.
ReplyDeleteHave been with you in spirit and thought, Narelle. Hope time will ease your pain, sending a warm hug,
