Some are not Christmas related but most are... It's been quite a few years since I was in this craft box; hope you like them; I enjoyed making them.
WELCOME to my BLOG
Hi there!
I’m slowly working towards some simplicity within the home, but hey! It’s a lot of hard work!
I love having a go at growing my own veges and always use herbs fresh from my garden. I try to plant from seed whenever I can and have learnt to save and share my own seed for the following year. I make Award Winning preserves and pickles; and my husband brews Award Winning boutique beers as well. I love to stockpile and try to limit quick trips to the shops. I dabble in bread making and enjoy making my own stocks too.
I enjoy feeding my family good hearty meals, nothing like those tiny restaurant stacks you have to look for on the plate. My husband maintains our vehicles and machinery and we both enjoy fabricating on a small scale mostly relying on metal & timber recyclers for any materials needed.
While I don’t always have time to reply to comments, I love reading them. I hope you enjoy your stay and I hope you learn something new because I love sharing what I learn, and I'm always looking for another new skill myself.
Cheers!

And cards are created...

Beautiful cards Narelle!
ReplyDeleteIt's been 25 years since my Mum passed away and I still find Christmas a very sad time of year. I'll be thinking of you and your family, all the best xox
Thanks Lisa.

DeleteSuch a touching verse at the end of this lovely post . Thank you :o)
ReplyDeleteThank-you ....the verse I wrote, just flows...I'm not much of a poet if I tried..everything I write on my blog is just free flowing thoughts at the time.
DeleteOnly my Dad is missing from our family and he's been gone 23 years now. I have a large family and count my blessings that we are all healthy and happy.
ReplyDeleteThis Christmas will be tough on you but treasure the beautiful memories and remember the very good times.
Merry Christmas to you and your family - I look forward to reading your blog in 2013 and seeing what you get up to.

xxxoooxxx
Thanks Sherrie; Here's wishing you and your family the same for the holiday season.
DeleteLike you and lots of others, I miss my Nan and family members too. We think of them all the time, but specially so at this time of year. Oh your cards are so cute! I love the dog in the wheelbarrow with the flowers. Is that a stamp? I make cards for cancer charities and other charities/animal shelters and have many health problems myself, but crafting helps. Take care, Karen x
ReplyDeleteThanks Karen, that dog in the wheelbarrow is a stamp which I sell as part of a set. There's a nice story behind that card. I made it for my solicitor who helped me with mum's estate. She has a mini jack-russel dog named Rusty and had him at the office one day after escaping from home running scared from fireworks, when I was there....Well of-course we bonded instantly. He had ran away from home scared of fireworks and was reunited with his mum after about 2 weeks on the streets....If you look back in my posts, we have a mini jack-russel named Rusty too. So when I seen this stamp it was inevitable that I use it for her card.
