WELCOME to my BLOG
Hi there!
I’m slowly working towards some simplicity within the home, but hey! It’s a lot of hard work!
I love having a go at growing my own veges and always use herbs fresh from my garden. I try to plant from seed whenever I can and have learnt to save and share my own seed for the following year. I make Award Winning preserves and pickles; and my husband brews Award Winning boutique beers as well. I love to stockpile and try to limit quick trips to the shops. I dabble in bread making and enjoy making my own stocks too.
I enjoy feeding my family good hearty meals, nothing like those tiny restaurant stacks you have to look for on the plate. My husband maintains our vehicles and machinery and we both enjoy fabricating on a small scale mostly relying on metal & timber recyclers for any materials needed.
While I don’t always have time to reply to comments, I love reading them. I hope you enjoy your stay and I hope you learn something new because I love sharing what I learn, and I'm always looking for another new skill myself.
Cheers!
Yay--your Post a Comment box has reappeared! I don't know if you fiddled and did something to make it come back. I didn't, but voila! Here it is!
ReplyDeleteI like your list and especially #24, but I don't suppose you have that much control over that one!
I don't actually make "Bucket Lists" myself, but I understand the point of them. It's funny, #13 on your list is one I've done but #15 doesn't interest me at all (I've gone on several big rides in my lifetime and can happily say "never again"....I'm content to hold other people's handbags while THEY ride now!) Your #21 would be amazing to actually have happen, wouldn't it......one can dream!
Nope Becca, no fiddling here...but glad it's all working again....I've always been the bag holder for those rides, did it once and cried, screamed and freaked out all the way....would like to do it again, just one more time, now that I know I will live.
ReplyDeleteThanks Becca for commenting on my blog.
Hi Nellymary
ReplyDeleteI have a bucket list at the bottom of my blog and it is constantly being updated. It is not everything I want to do but some of as there are things that get added and deleted all the time.
Hi Fiona, I just had another look at your blog, and read your Bucket list...sounds like my kind of list....
