Seeing I need to make a visit to the post office for the garlic give-away...I thought I might as well add another give-away to celebrate my blog's first birthday!
All you need to do to be in the running for this give-away is to be a follower. If your not one already, sign up and tell me which post you have enjoyed the best, and why! I enjoy feedback, but would also like to know what others would like to see more of. If you have a good idea for a post...let me know and I will see what I can do.
I love my book so much, that when I seen one in an op-shop I had to share it with you......
Happy birthday Narelle! That book looks great.

Oh yay! I'd have liked to join the other one but figured that it wouldn't be allowed. I will join too as soon as I can find the right button :) I have been reading here for ages but don't often have anything useful to add. I should cure that lurking habit I suppose.

Happy first birthday to your blog! If I was to pick the one post that I liked the most I couldn't for it is a series of posts - your Gardening 101's. As you have posted so much information that I feel as though I was there too.
ReplyDeleteHi Narelle :) congratulations on having such a wonderful blog and happy 1st birthday ...Well done...

ReplyDeleteI have been impressed and informed by so many of your posts, and always by your comfortable writing style and lovely photographs...choosing just one "favorite post" is impossible!
But the one that had the biggest immediate impact in my house is probably the citrus cleanser! Thanks so much :)
Happy blogversary Narelle dear :)

Congratulations on the 1st year anniversary on your successful blog. I loved the post on the cake/pudding made in the cans in a steamer. What a great idea. You have so many great posts it was hard to choose. lol
ReplyDeleteBest wishes.
Dell.
Happy first blog anniversary Narelle. May you always be an inspiration to so many bloggers. Keep up the great work. xx
ReplyDeleteFantastic! May it be the first of many years to come,
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to your wonderful blog!
ReplyDeleteSincerely,

Happy 1st birthday to your blog, yes time flies when you are having fun.
ReplyDeleteHappy 1st birthday to JLMNM. I particularly like the garden ones posts. However, I have to say citrus cleaner is the one that has had the most impact in my house. The soup starter has been made and used here to. Looking forward to the next twelve months.
ReplyDeleteHappy 1st blog birthday Narelle, congratulations on a fantastic year of posts and many more years to come. So many favorite posts and hints to choose from, but the Herb and Garlic Mix (which my 84 year old mum now adores), and all the wonderful gardening hints from your Gardening 101 would have to be two of my/our favorites. :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat blog Nellymary, thank you for sharing your wisdoms with us ! Happy Birthday dear blog, wishing you many more :)

Happy Birthday Narelle and Congratulations. I have learned so much from your posts that it's difficult to pick a favorite. I love all of the information about diary kefir and make mine everyday now. I've even been able to pass it along to friends at school. I also really enjoy hearing stories about your mother and the rest of your family. Take care and have a lovely 1st birthday.
ReplyDeleteWow Congratulations indeed - many more happy blogging years to come... Enjoy your updates ♥
ReplyDeleteHappy first birthday Narelle, You have given the wonderful gift of yourself through your time and your knowledge. I know I have learnt so much.
ReplyDeleteHappy blogaversary - I cant believe it is only a year - you have so much useful information on this blog. I have bookmarked so many things that I want to come back and try one day when I have more time :)
ReplyDeleteHappy One year anniversary!!! I enjoy reading your blog-especially the posts on making soap ( :
ReplyDeleteThe book looks interesting too!
Hi, I'm now following you. Happy birthday:)
ReplyDeleteHi I am so glad I found your blog a few months ago. I commented at the beginning of the year and mentioned that my father was losing independence well he passed away on the 29th of january. We also lost my Auntie in Australia on the 22nd of December so it has been a terrible year so far. I just wanted to tell you that coming back to the blog after the trauma- Dad's cancer diagnosis only 9 days before he died and his funeral last Friday, is restoring a sense of normality for me and is a great help. Thank you so much for all the work and effort you are putting in. It is certainly one of the very best blogs around- congratulations!
ReplyDeleteWith all the posts and information on your blog Narelle I can't believe it's only been a year. May you have many more to come.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite post is so hard to pick, I love the universal herb and garlic mix, but I also love the Rhubarb Champagne. The other things I really love is the list of plants growing in your garden - I used think I don't grow much in my garden but when I listed it like that there was more there than I thought. Also I love the 'to do' list, I think it puts things in perspective and gives you a sense of achievement when thing are quite going to plan:)
I've been getting your email updates for a while, always a good read , thanks :)
ReplyDeleteI have only just started reading through your blog and it's a lovely way to while away the Winter days. (I'm in England).
ReplyDeleteMy favorite has to be your citrus cleanser.
It's amazing and I use it on everything.
You made me laugh when you said you could use it as a salad dressing too.
How thrifty is that!!
Happy birthday too xx
I am very much impressed from your site because you have not posted a content still you have got so many good comments. We can get some ideas from these comments.
